National Alumni Association President

I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the Officers and Board of Directors of the National Alumni Association of Bethune-Cookman University to welcome you to our website. Please take the time to peruse and become familiar with it.

Our plans and goals for the next two years include: more communication with chapters through email, callingpost messages, teleconferences, one-on-one meetings and chapter visits; more accountability of chapter presidents; retaining current members, recruiting new members (especially recent alums who departed during the last five (5) years), chapter revitalizations; and to increase Alumni giving with a special giving program.

The Executive Committee and I have agreed to be on one accord and our mantra is "Let's Work Smarter, not Harder." It is our intent to continue with the professional working relationship with the Board of Trustees and our President, Dr. Edison O. Jackson, as it relates to matters concerning the B-CU National Alumni Association.

By embracing these plans, we can't help but expect success for an even greater legacy that our founder, Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune would be proud of as well as all of the alumni of Bethune-Cookman University can be proud too.

Continue to visit our website often for updates and information on upcoming events and activities that the Association will be presenting.

May God continue to bless each of you and it is my pleasure to serve as the leader of the National Alumni Association. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need more information.
