National Alumni Association President

More than anything, I am honored that you have entrusted me with the leadership of the National Alumni Association . My promise to you is that I will never knowingly violate your trust, and will always act with integrity and professionalism as the public face of the National Alumni Association.

I have adopted the theme of "Respect-Responsibility Results" and ask that all members join with me in the same.

The University is in a crisis situation and we must hit the ground running! With that said, we will immediately begin working to repair, solidify, and build a stronger infrastructure for our organization. This will require all members to "get in where they fit in". I am open to new ideas and "outside the box thinking".

We have numerous Ad Hoc Committees that will need to be staffed with chairs and members. I ask is that you objectively evaluate your skills  and talents and find a committee that has available positions where your talent can be maximized  for the benefit of the Association and Bethune-Cookman University. Everyone has skills, talents, and connections we can bring to the table.

I will rely heavily on the Board of Directors and the Executive Board as we build on the successes of the previous administration, such that the National Alumni Association will become a reckoning force, positioned to carry out its mission: SUPPORT OF BETHUNE COOKMAN UNIVERSITY!

In the spirit of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune,

Robert Delancy

President, National Alumni Association

Bethune-Cookman University, Inc.
