40th Annual National Alumni Convention

June 18 - June 22, 2008 • Daytona Beach, Florida

The Volusia Chapter of the Bethune-Cookman University National Alumni Association will host the 40th Annual National Alumni Convention June 18 - June 22, 2008 in Daytona Beach, Florida. This year’s theme is One Vision; One Purpose; One Direction; the convention promises to be a spectacular showing of alumni pride, progress and perseverance. As you know, the convention is an opportunity for you to renew acquaintances, meet other alumni and make friends. We need your presence, as well as your support.

Meticulous efforts have been taken to ensure you have a truly unique, entertaining and exemplary experience this year. We are excited about your full support and participation in the wondrous events planned especially with our alumni and friends in mind. We also invite you to participate in the souvenir journal and membership directory.

 Homecoming Past and Present

As part of celebrating the Bethune-Cookman University National Alumni Association

40th Anniversary, a history display will be created and can be viewed by conference participants.

 The photographic display, created by members of each chapter, will highlight Bethune-Cookman

University and the 40-year existence of the National Alumni Association.

Please provide five gold framed 8 x 10 pictures (copies of pictures) reflecting activities you have shared,

hosted or presented as a chapter (example: chapter conventions, local chapter parties, hosting of

B-CU choirs, band, college presidents, local Miss Alumni pageant or banquet). Include chapter

name, location, date/year and a short summary of the activity.
